Energy Utilization Process of Small Waste-to-Energy Plants
Small waste-to-energy plants utilize various energy sources, including incineration, gasification, pyrolysis, and anaerobic digestion, to convert waste into usable energy.
1. Incineration
Process: This is the most common method used in waste-to-energy plants. Waste is burned at high temperatures to generate heat. This heat generates steam that drives turbines to generate electricity.
Advantages: Incineration significantly reduces waste volume (up to 90%) and minimizes landfill use. Advanced systems also include flue gas cleaning technology to reduce air pollution.

Process: Waste arrives at the plant, is shredded, and sorted. It is then fed into a low-temperature magnetic gas pyrolysis furnace, where it slowly transforms into charcoal under conditions that mimic natural conditions. The charcoal decomposition process produces combustible gas, which drives a generator to generate electricity.
Advantages: No energy is required, and the magnetic gas oxygen supply allows for slow air intake.
